Multiple services are available to assist faculty with questions regarding author's rights and electronic publishing options provided by the University of New Mexico Libraries and the Health Sciences Informatics Center.

Author’s Rights Consultations

University librarians provide the resources and expertise needed to navigate the different copyright and self-archiving policies of publishers, and are available to assist with negotiating and maintaining copyright and intellectual property.

Open Journal and Open Conference System

Departmental publications, scholarly journals, and conference proceedings sponsored by University of New Mexico faculty can take advantage of free hosting on the University Libraries supported instance of the Public Knowledge Project’s Open Journal and Open Conference Systems.
